Nitro Doppleganger 2024

The 2024 Nitro Dopplegänger is lightweight powerhouse designed for expert backcountry explorers, who want the very best in a fully featured splitboard. The lightweight Koroyd Powercore lets you hike faster and further, while the Hike Pods give you extra grip for icy traverses up.

The Cam-Out Camber profile and mid-wide shape give you all the float and power you need for the way down, no matter how deep the snow is.

Camber Type: Cam-Out Camber

Cam-out camber is basically positive camber with earlier and smoother transition zones in the tip and tail. This gives the board a lower rise in the centre, resulting in a fun and responsive ride with easier turn initiation and more forgiveness, giving you the benefits of camber without the aggression.

Flex: 8/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

All Terrain Flex – This is Nitro’s most versatile flex pattern, combining great pop and smooth response.

Directional Flex – This board has a directional flex pattern that allows more movement in the nose with a stiffer tail for extra pop and power under your back foot.

Shape: Directional Splitboard

A directional shape along with an exaggerated nose to keep the nose up, the tail down, and keep you upright instead of nosediving.

Core: Koroyd PowerCore

The latest and greatest in core technology, it uses co-extruded miniature tubes, that are vertically aligned and welded together. Koroyd is approximately 70% lighter than regular balsa wood, with no loss of strength or flex.

Diamond Laminates – Well balanced layers of carbon fiber, for more snap and a lively feel, in a powerful but effortless ride.

A hard and fast base material, that soaks up wax and moves quickly.

Mounting Pattern: Voilé Compatible

Additional Features:

Progressive Sidecut – A larger radius sidecut in the nose that blends into a tighter radius in the tail, keeping your turns fast and catch-free.

100% Natural Speed Wax – All Nitro boards are factory-tuned with Kandahars 100% Natural Speed Wax, a fully bio-degradable wax made of renewable resources.

Hike Pods – Exclusive to the Doppleganger, they specifically add grip under the bindings when you are in hike mode, making icy traverses just a bit easier.
