Union Contact Pro Slush Slasher 2022

The 2022 Union Contact Pro Slush Slasher promotes Union’s philosophy of turning the entire mountain into your own personal terrain park on those longer, warmer and sunny Spring slush days late in the season. Built as a go to binding for any freestyle rider who likes to get mega creative with snowboarding, it has a softer, surfy flex and minimal binding-to-board interface so it works perfectly as a playful freestyle binding. The Slush Slasher Contact Pro really shines when paired with any Spring Break snowboard, especially the Spring Break Slush Slasher.

Flex: Highback 5/10, Baseplate 5/10, Strap 5/10

Board Compatibility: This Union binding comes with a Minidisk and is compatible with 2×4 and channel binding mounting systems.

Baseplate: CP3 Duraflex

The Contact Pro Slush Slasher baseplate is like one big shock absorber, using Duraflex MD blended nylon that provides a mid flexing base with the added power that can perform all over the mountain. A minimum board to binding contact footprint of just 5% promotes the true flex of your board and provides a more natural response.

Highback: CP No FLAD Highbacks

The CP No FLAD Highback is one of the favourites for freestyle riding, featuring a soft flex laterally while still giving toe to heel response and having a super strong construction. This build promotes flex diversity and boot to binding response.

Buckles: Aluminium Ratchets

A smooth and fast mechanism combined with Union aluminium creates a light and durable ratchet that feels good, looks good, and works even better.

Straps: Forma Elite Ankle Straps + TS-1.0 Hexgrip Toe Straps

The Forma Elite ankle strap produces strength and rapid response on the outside, fit and comfort on the inside. The Hexgrip Toe Strap offers multi-positional options and is made from a thermoplastic anti-slip material to keep you securely locked in.

Cushioning:  Full Bottom Thermoformed EVA Bushings

Thermoformed EVA bushings between the binding and your board sucks up unwanted board vibrations and absorbs impact, making your ride smoother and  landings less intense.

Additional Features:

Extruded 3D Aluminium Heelcups:

This heelcup increased the stiffness of the binding, increases response, and is adjustable to help you dial in the perfect fit.
